How can I verify that I am officially registered?
Are refunds available?
Your race entry fee is non-refundable and bib numbers are not transferable to other runners or years. No exceptions.
Can I transfer my registration to another runner or year?
No. Your registration, number and timing tag are non-transferable. No exceptions.
What happens if I am unable to participate but want my t-shirt and goodies?
You are welcome to pick up your packet and t-shirt during packet pick-up hours, though we are unable to mail packets.
Is online registration secure?
Active.com handles all registrations and uses a security technology called Secure Socket Layers, or SSL, which encrypts your personal and credit card information while transferring it from your Internet browser to the Active.com servers.
Packet Pick-Up Information
Is it mandatory to pick up my race packet?
Yes. Your race packet includes your official race bib, timing tag, and final instructions along with a fastener for your timing tag and safety pins for your bib. You must wear both your tag and bib on race day or you will not be allowed on the course. Packets cannot be mailed.
Where and when can I pick up my race packet?
Race packets will be available for pick up at the 5th Street Market on Saturday, August 24th from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
What do I need to bring with me to pick up my packet?
It's a good idea to bring the confirmation email you received when you registered and a photo ID. Bib Number information will be available at packet pick-up.
Can a friend pick up my race packet on my behalf?
Yes. Your friend will need a hard copy of your confirmation email in order to retrieve your packet.
Is the Eugene Women’s Half Marathon Certified?
Yes! The half marathon course is USATF certified!
Will there be pace groups?
Yes. The New Balance pace team will be running 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 minutes per mile. Join in with them at any time during the race!
Are walkers welcome?
Yes. The course is open for 3 ½ hours and the finish line is open for 4 hours. Meaning that if you are walking around 16 minute pace you may be asked to move to the sidewalk if approached by our “sweeper” team. Course support, like water and aid stations, will close after 3 1/2 hours. But you can still complete the race if within 4 hours.
Are wheelchairs allowed on the course?
Are iPods or headphones allowed on the course?
iPods, walkmans and other earpiece music devices are allowed on the course. If you choose to wear one please be extra cautious and mindful of the volume of your music and your presence on the course.
Are baby strollers/joggers or un-registered friends allowed on the course?
No. Baby strollers/joggers or baby carriers, in-line skates, bicyclists, or unregistered runners are not allowed on the course to ensure safety for all participants. The are allowed for the Daddy & Tot Trot ONLY.
Are animals allowed on the course?
No. Animals are not allowed on the course.
Will there be portable restrooms on the course?
Portable restrooms will be located at the Start, Finish and lots of them along the course.
Is wearing the timing tag mandatory?
Yes. Your timing tag allows for official times to be recorded and accurate calculation of placement. Tags must be securely zip tied to participant’s shoes. Exact instructions are provided with the timing tags.
Where do I return the timing tag after the race?
Tags may be returned in the finish line chutes after the race. If you do not return your tag, you will be charged a $30.00 fee. Mail unreturned tags to:
